The 2020 Volkl Flair SC Carbon womens frontside ski is designed for high intermediate to advanced lady skiers who prefer their time on the front side of the mountain. Loved for its hard snow performance and short turn agility, this ski loves early morning corduroy as much as it loves bumps and end of day chop. Its lightweight and predictable whilst providing ultimate edge grip and power for a smooth ride.

The narrow 70mm waist width makes edge to edge transitions easy whilst feeling stable at speed thanks to a wider tip and tail profile. Integrated UVO dampening system improves snow contact by absorbing vibrations for a smooth ride, combined with 3D Glass and Full Sensor woodcore ensure better edge grip and poppy edge to edge transition all whilst reducing the overall weight of the ski.

What's that spaceship on the nose?

UVO NOT UFO. The UVO 3D (Ultimate Vibration Object) – The terrain below the ski inevitably generates vibrations, which in turn set the shovel into motion. This significantly disrupts the smoothness of the ski-ride, and makes it harder to hold an edge. The revolutionary UVO technology works against this, through proven dampening in the form of reduced vibrations in the horizontal and vertical directions as well as along the length of the ski.

FULL SENSOR WOODCORE LIGHT

The Full Sensor Wood Core Light consists of hard wood in the center area around the screws and very light wood in the outer zone. In the alpine range especially the Efficiency models benefit from the weight reduction and allow very sporty turns and speeds.

Base: P-Tex 2100 Base – A sintered high-density and high molecular polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability.

Direct and strong powertransmission with full length sidewalls.
